Mullet

Mullus surmuletus

The mullet belongs to the perch-like species and is also called king of the gurnard, despite not being related to the gurnard. The mullet can be recognized by its pink and red colors. In recent years, the fish have been increasingly found in the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea. The mullet is caught primarily by flyshoot fishing. Because of this technique, the fish hardly gets damaged, which benefits the quality.
