Cod
Gadus morhua
Cod belongs to the round fish and is related to the cod family which also includes whiting, haddock and pollock. Cod is a species of fish commonly found in the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Cod usually comes gutted (= eviscerated) and is sold whole, in haunches or filleted.
